A student and a faculty member have filed a lawsut accusing the Massachusetts Institute of Technology of fostering a hostile antisemitic environment on campus. The lawsuit says incidents have caused Jewish and Israeli students at MIT “to live in fear for their personal safety, have hindered their ability to complete their academic studies." It has also "marred their ability to participate in MIT campus life.”
