Authorities reported that at about 8:41 p.m., officers were dispatched for a water rescue at the pool.
Officials said the Baltimore Police helicopter, known as Foxtrot, was patrolling the area and responded to the scene. Before Foxtrot landed, officials observed citizens attempting to pull the man from the water.
Realizing the urgency, officials decided to land Foxtrot at the rear of the school. The flight officer exited the helicopter and began performing CPR on the individual. The Baltimore City Fire Department then arrived and took over medical care.

]]>Christian Ramos, 28, of Aurora, Illinois, has been arrested and charged with three counts of attempted first-degree murder and other related offenses. Additionally, Ramos faces a separate firearm charge in Cecil County, and investigators say they believe he might be linked to three additional shootings that occurred Wednesday night on I-83 in Pennsylvania.
Shortly before midnight, Maryland State Police responded to southbound I-83 near Shawan Road after a driver called 911 and stated that his car had been shot at while traveling south, officials reported.
Authorities assessed the victim’s vehicle and found a bullet hole in the passenger side window and a projectile lodged in the front seat, according to the report. No injuries were reported.
After reviewing dashcam footage and conducting interviews, investigators identified Ramos as the suspect.
Officials said that Ramos is believed to have been driving a Tag Trans Inc. tractor-trailer during the incident. Investigators located the vehicle and arrested Ramos without incident. He did not have an attorney listed in online court records Sunday.
While police were searching the tractor-trailer, they said they recovered a loaded, .45-caliber handgun; several hundred rounds of ammunition; and multiple spent shell casings.
Later on, investigators learned that Pennsylvania State Police are also investigating three shootings that occurred the same night on I-83 in Pennsylvania between 10 p.m. and midnight.
Officials ask that anyone who might have been traveling I-83 through Maryland or Pennsylvania on Wednesday night and has dashcam footage or information related to these shootings to contact the Maryland State Police Highway Gun Crimes Initiative at 410-538-1887.

]]>Officers responded about 7:15 p.m. Tuesday to the 500 block of Gender Road in Newark, Delaware, following a reported kidnapping.
The 31-year-old mother, Darrian Randle, of Newark, told officers she had pulled over to calm her daughter after the girl became upset. While comforting Nola, Randle told police that a white male armed with a handgun approached the vehicle and took the child.
Randle claimed the man then fled in a dark-colored SUV driven by a white woman.
The report led authorities to issue an Amber Alert and launch a large-scale investigation involving the New Castle County Division of Police Criminal Investigations Unit and the FBI.
However, in a dramatic development on Wednesday, police announced that detectives had determined the mother’s story was made-up. Investigators also found human remains consistent with a child in a vacant lot in North East, Maryland, state police said in a news release Wednesday.
The Amber Alert was canceled, and New Castle police contacted Maryland State Police, requesting officers respond to Randle’s last known address in North East, Maryland. Randle and 44-year-old Cedrick Antoine Britten have been arrested in connection with the missing child, the Maryland State Police announced.
Law enforcement officials confirmed that the case is being treated as a homicide. Autopsy results are still pending to confirm an identification, authorities reported.
Randle is charged with first- and second-degree murder, and first-degree child abuse resulting in death of a minor under 13, as well as additional charges. She was taken into custody at the New Castle County Division of Police, waiting for extradition, authorities said.
Britten is charged with accessory to first- and second-degree murder after the fact, the failure to report child death, and other additional charges. Britten was taken into custody in Maryland and will be transported to the Cecil County District Court for an initial appearance, officials said.
Authorities continue to work in coordination with the FBI and Maryland State Police to investigate the case.

Initial investigation revealed that a driver of a BMW SUV traveling westbound rear-ended a box truck. This caused the box truck to travel across the center median and strike a tractor-trailer that was traveling eastbound, authorities reported.
“Both the box truck and tractor trainer were propelled into the wood line adjacent to eastbound I-70 and caught fire,” according to Maryland State Police.
The drivers of both vehicles were flown to Shock Trauma.
There were two passengers inside the box truck who were both pronounced deceased on the scene, officials said. Their identities were not released.
The driver of the BMW remained on scene and refused medical treatment, officials said. Two passengers of the BMW were transported by ground to a local hospital.
