U.S. Naval Academy Superintendent Vice Adm. Yvette Davids,  the first woman and Hispanic person to lead the academy since its founding in 1845, will be renominated for a third star — the rank of vice admiral — and will be deputy chief of naval operations staff, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth said Friday.
