Trump withdraws NASA nominee, seeks candidate to ‘put America First in Space’

Donald Trump announced in December he had chosen billionaire Jared Isaacman as NASA’s next administrator. Isaacman, 42, has been a close collaborator with Elon Musk since buying a chartered flight with SpaceX in 2021.
