Dayhoff: Westminster Elks lodge plans Flag Day observance

Marine Corps Honor Guard holds the American flag over the casket of Staff Sergeant Charles I. Cartwright as taps is played, at funeral services Monday morning Nov. 16, 2009. Cartwright died Nov. 7, 2009 while serving in Afghanistan. This coming Saturday, June 14, 2025 is National Flag Day. The Westminster Elks Lodge #2277 will hold its annual Flag Day ceremony on National Flag Day at 3:30 on Saturday.
