Armstrong Williams is right (“Armstrong Williams: The rotten core of a manufactured scandal,” July 22)! If Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard’s assessment of classified documents reveals a “treasonous conspiracy” by the Obama administration to weaponize the intelligence community against 2016 presidential candidate Donald Trump, it would be “one of the most corrosive abuses of power in American history.”

Only Obama administration officials, Capitol Hill Democrats, federal bureaucrats, Hillary Clinton and their allies in the media believed the Russia collusion narrative. In 2020, the same group thought that Joe Biden was capable of being President of the United States. In 2024, the same group said Vice President Kamala Harris was capable of serving in that post.

Americans are fed up with the lies, government abuses and policies that undermine their freedoms, faith and future. Thank you, Director Gabbard, for working to restore public confidence in the U.S. intelligence community.
