At the beginning of his second term, President Donald Trump threatened to impose 25% tariffs on hundreds of billions of dollars worth of goods in a push to help stem the flow of migrants and fentanyl across the borders. On Thursday, Trump said import taxes would force other countries to crack down on the trafficking.
