Texas lawmaker introduces bill to extend gender reassignment ban for children to adults

Texas state Rep. Brent Money, R-District 2, filed H.B. 3399, which proposes to change the current law to extend a ban on gender reassignment surgeries for children to adults. The bill changes use of “child” in the current law with “person.” He said the act “isn’t about judgment; it’s about accountability.”
