About 40 protesters gather outside the Forensic Medical Center on W. Baltimore St. to demand that cases overseen by former medical examiner David Fowler be investigated anew, after the censure Fowler has received for his testimony in the Derek Chauvin trial. 
The figures are high, according to forensic pathologists, and raise questions about the accuracy of the state's accounting of homicides, suicides and accidental overdose deaths.
