Millions of above-ground pools recalled after deaths of nine children since 2007

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission along with multiple companies that sold the products, said the recall involves 48-inch and taller above-ground pools that use compression straps. The strap that surrounds the outside of the pool potentially creates a foothold, giving children access to the pool and presenting a drowning risk for them.
