Editor in chief of NPR announces her resignation amid federal funding cuts

NPR's editor in chief and acting chief content officer, Edith Chapin, said her decision to resign was unrelated to the congressional vote cutting the non-profit's federal funding, saying she informed NPR CEO Katherine Maher of her decision two weeks ago.
