Maryland football analyst Tim Strachan dies at 49: ‘An incredible person’

A vigil service of celebration will be held Monday at DeMatha’s gym

Tim Strachan was a standout quarterback at Dematha High School before becoming paralyzed from a body surfing accident in 1993.  The University of Maryland gave him a full scholarship to be an assistant student coach for the Terps, and he went on to become a beloved Maryland football broadcaster.
