Church sales ‘booming’ in Baltimore, nationally, as religious affiliation fades

Archdiocese joining trend with at least six properties for sale

Thousands of churches have already been sold and converted to other uses in Baltimore and beyond. Buyers are turning former houses of worship into community centers, condominium complexes, restaurants, and private homes.
